I love my skin, thats something that I never imagined I would say just two years ago - I've always grown up with flawless skin and then it all started to change. I would daily coach Brides on how to make the most out of their skin before their wedding day and by the time the wedding day arrived they would have the healthiest glowing skin but I gave my own very little attention if any at all. It was all part of my own diet, wearing make up daily and the early signs of ageing. It was time that i made a change and started to take up my own advice that i would give to clients.
After just a short time I'm now happy to go out without wearing any make up and i've managed to keep to a simple and fast skincare routine while living with a busy schedule.
Keep your skin clean - Bobbi Browns facial scrub is something which lives in my bathroom cabinet so it would be difficult to miss, i mix this with Bobbi Browns Soothing Cleansing oil and use possibly once or twice a week, it takes no longer than two minutes out of my day and the difference is immense. The complexion is left looking smoother, firmer and clear.
- This is something which i've only just started to put into my beauty regime and I've now become a addict. I've always been one for overloading my skin with moisturisers although as i had started to see fine lines appearing i need a little extra help, i would now recommend anyone to start using a facial oil from around the age of 25years old when the early signs of ageing starts to appear.
I have two favourites the first one being Blue Orchid face treatment oil, i read a few poor reviews on this product although with being a fan of Clarins I still wanted to try using it for myself especially as it is a third of the cost of many of the other oils which are on the market - I use one or two drops on each eye applying both morning and in the evening. After just two weeks I noticed an amazing difference, i've now been using the oil for seven months, its help my fine lines reduce considerably, I'm sure that this product has taken two years off me and one which I will now never want to live without.
Luna Sleeping night oil by Sunday Riley has appeared all over social media and throughout the beauty magazines recently. I loved the branding and how Luna has marketed the product although I had to know if the extra cost for purchasing the oil worth it. It lives on my bedside table so its impossible for me to forget to apply and its the last step of my skincare regime in the evening - I apply the oil onto dry skin using 2-3 drops on each eye, its relatively thick in texture and don't let the blue tones of the oil put you off, the colour will soon evaporate once you work the oil into your skin. I have only been using this for two weeks now and it is certainly doing what it should be, i wake up in the morning with glowing hydrated skin. The complexion is left looking smoother, firmer and clear. The only drawback i could find to this product was the cost although you do pay for what you get.

Keeping your skin hydrated from within is a fundamental part of good skin. Aiming to drink between 2-3 ltrs of water a day will noticeably leave you with more hydrated skin. I always go off to bed with a bottle of water and even if I don't manage to finish it before I fall off to sleep I always ensure I finish drinking the remaining in the morning as these are the two times of the day that fluid is the most essential for you. Keeping a bottle by your desk, its amazing how much you will drink if its sat right in front of you. I carry an iced cooled bottle of water whenever I'm at the gym or outdoor training and as I'm always travelling in the car I take a fresh bottle with me.
You can spend hundreds or thousands on make up brands and trying out new techniques but if you don't take good care of your skin first it doesn't matter how much you put in, you will never find a nice make up finish.
